The indoor pool is nice for kids and has a fun vibe. The valet parking service was slow and disorganized, which was frustrating. Happy hour offers great drink deals. Breakfast options are limited and could be improved.

The indoor heated pool was a nice touch, perfect after a long day of skiing. Room cleanliness was disappointing, with dusty furniture and a musty smell. Happy hour drinks were reasonably priced but the snacks were limited to chips and pretzels.

We had a fantastic time at this newly remodeled hotel, which not only offered a beautiful and clean space for our family getaway, but also allowed us to easily explore our surroundings; right across from some of the Stateline Casinos and just a few steps away from shops, restaurants, and entertainment like the Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena and Montbleu Resort, we enjoyed delightful evenings filled with music and outdoor dining despite it being winter, although there were minor issues with room maintenance that could have been improved.

We enjoyed the spacious suite offered after a reservation mix-up, which turned out to be a nice surprise. The location couldn’t be better—close to the shuttle station and within walking distance to everything. The food at Echo was great, but the service left much to be desired. The resort is pet-friendly, making it an easy choice for families. Despite its charm, the experience was a mixed bag of highs and lows.

Plus, battling unreturned charges and a freezing kid from missing blankets really killed the vibe. I won’t be back!

The room featured a very comfortable bed, although it felt a bit hard for my liking. The size was great, with nice guest bathrooms. I struggled with a muggy feeling and issues such as a clogged sink and dirtied carpets. The refrigerator wasn’t cooling properly. The overall cleanliness was subpar, with garbage left behind from previous guests. I appreciated the unique design inspired by an island vibe, but many elements seemed outdated. Plus, the noise from other guests was noticeable. Despite the appealing layout, the upkeep needs significant attention.

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe boasts a fantastic location just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and hiking trails, making it convenient for outdoor enthusiasts. The newly remodeled rooms are clean, although the decor is a bit more beachy than Tahoe-inspired, providing a unique experience nonetheless.

The staff are super friendly, which is refreshing! The rooms are clean, spacious, and perfect for unwinding after a long day. The food at the grill ranges from tasty coconut shrimp to maybe not-so-great frozen fish.
The decor feels a bit like a time capsule from the past.

The room they initially gave us was right by the breakfast area, and let me tell you, that early morning hustle and bustle was not the wake-up call I was hoping for. After requesting a change, they moved us to a much quieter room, which was a relief. On the bright side, the room itself was spacious and had a nice layout with a separate bedroom and living room. The living room had two comfy couches, a table, and chairs, which was a nice touch. The overall decor was a bit dated, but it was still cozy. One thing that I found disappointing was that breakfast wasn't included in the price, and considering the higher rate we paid this time, it felt like a bit of a letdown. The lack of breakfast, as well as ongoing construction work that limited our use of certain facilities, did take away from the overall experience. Another issue was cleanliness - the room felt a bit dusty, and the tub could have used a deep scrub. it was good to have a microwave and a mini-fridge in the room, and the bed was comfortable. I did appreciate the central downtown location, which made it convenient to walk around without needing to drive. But overall, the experience was a bit lackluster due to the noise, lack of included breakfast, and cleanliness issues.

Beautiful hotel. Stunning location. Rooms spacious and clean, with a touch of elegance. The lobby buzzes with live music, creating an inviting atmosphere. disorganization at check-in was frustrating. Only one room ready, and front desk staff deflected blame onto a third-party system, despite our second room being available all along. Parking fees are excessive. Discovered free options only after some effort. Some areas need better maintenance—dirty pool, a sluggish sink, and an AC system that felt more like a prank than a convenience. Housekeeping could improve timing, but the overall experience with family was enjoyable. With upgrades and more transparency, this gem could truly shine. I'm open to a return visit.

The room was spacious and clean, perfect for our family of four. Staff were friendly and eager to help, making sure we had everything we needed.
It wasn’t cheap, but it was reasonable for the quality we received.

The separate living room space was perfect for multiple people. Lots of things to walk to and an easy starting point for exploring the area.
Felt snug, no complaints at all.

During my Christmas stay, I enjoyed the convenient location within the Heavenly area, making it easy to access shops, eateries, and entertainment. The ambiance of the resort atmosphere was pleasant, creating a relaxing environment for the holiday. Additionally, the valet parking service was efficient and the staff was helpful.
On the downside, the cleanliness of the rooms was lacking, with issues such as grimy bathroom grout, dusty vents, and stained towels. The presence of ongoing construction in common areas led to noise disruptions and the closure of gym/pool facilities, which was not clearly communicated beforehand to guests.

Exploring the local dining scene and catching a captivating performance at the nearby casinos added a delightful touch to our family getaway. Whether cruising Lake Tahoe on kayaks or skiing at Heavenly, there's something for everyone in this year-round paradise.
My wife says that clearer breakfast pricing for kids would benefit families.

Had a blast in the spacious suites with tropical vibes, promising a great value for the price. The room layout and stunning views of the surroundings were remarkable. The location near the lake was a huge plus, making it easy to explore the area.
Disappointed by the lack of basic amenities like complimentary water bottles and the uncomfortable sofa bed. The cleanliness standards were subpar, with spilled milk and rotted sheers in the room.

Rock climbing and kayaking were epic, plus hitting the Tahoe casinos for good vibes. Heavenly Ski was dope for snowboarding. Getting around the lake was a breeze! Total teenage paradise!
More late-night party options for young crowd, please! .

Lake Tahoe's alpine skiing was thrilling! Breakfast fueled my snowboarding. The hotel's gondola drop-off was convenient.
Love waking up to construction noise at the crack of dawn! .

Our stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The valet service was prompt and efficient, and the front desk was always available for any questions or concerns. The 24-hour reception and security provided us with peace of mind during our stay. The indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi were a great way to relax after a day of skiing. The hotel's location was perfect, with easy access to the slopes and close proximity to restaurants and shops.
Elevators were out of service during our stay.
